KNUST students benefit from Nankani and Hagan
Endowment Fund
Kumasi, March 31, Ghanadot/GNA - The
management of Nankani and Hagan Endowment Fund on
Monday presented GH¢300 cash each to 10 brilliant
but needy students of Kwame Nkrumah University of
Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
The money is to help them pursue courses in
Engineering, Medicine, Science, Agriculture and
Pharmacy.
Professor Martha Tamakloe, Chairperson of Board of
Trustees of the Fund, presenting the money said
since its inception in 2003, the Fund had assisted
50 students of KNUST.
She was optimistic the Fund would help address the
needs of brilliant but needy students for human
resource development of the country.
Professor Tamakloe urged the beneficiaries to be
serious with their academic activities to realise
their God-given talents.
Professor Kwasi Kwafo Adarkwa, Vice Chancellor of
KNUST commended the management for the gesture and
called on corporate bodies to institute such
endowment funds for the progress of tertiary
education in the country.
