Japan Motors wins Motor Firm of the year award

Accra, Aug 4, Ghanadot - The
Charted Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) has honoured
Japan Motors and Trading Company Limited as the “Motor Firm
of the year, 2008” at the 20th CIMG Marketing Performance
Awards ceremony held in Accra recently.
Japan Motors was cited by the CIMG for receiving high
ratings on its speed and qualify of service delivery from
customers who were overwhelmingly unanimous in giving
excellent and very good ratings for using genuine spare
parts to service their vehicles.”
The motor firm of the year was commended for hard work and
commitment to client, good marketing strategies,
professionalism, good business ambience and competent staff
among other achievements.
The CIMG citation further noted that Japan Motors in 2008
opened branches at the Accra Airport City and in Takoradi
‘In response to a need to see a more spread out Japan Motors
across the country” and that the company launched the Nissan
Teana, Qashqai and Navara models in Ghana in 2008.
Furthermore, Japan Motors was mentioned for making
substantial contributions to the Ghanaian community,
especially in the fields of education and health.
The CIMG Award was presented to the Managing Director of
Japan Motors Mr Salem Kalmoni, by the president of the CIMG,
Mr Cletus Kuzagbe.
Japan Motors’ executives at the event included Mr Imad
Antoine Ghorayeb, General Manager (Sales and Marketing); Mrs
Victoria Quartey, Human Resource Manager; Mr Mohammed
Byrouthy, Service Manager; and Mrs Hilda Peasah, Public
Relations Officer.
Also present to support the Japan Motors team was Mr Amadu,
Parts Manager, Mrs Clare Kattah, Sales Manager, Mr David
Odoyye and Mr Somad Alhassan Musah, Acting Managing Director
of Modern Auto Services.
