Hearts/Kotoko for Disciplinary Committee

Accra, Jan 9, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been invited to the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to answer cases of violence and indiscipline during the 16th week league game played on Sunday at the Robert Mensah Stadium.

The two clubs are to meet the committee on Thursday, January 11, at the secretariat of the GFA.

A statement signed by Mr Aaron Sowah, secretary to the committee asked the two parties to appear before the committee with evidence or documents to determine the grounds of their cases.

Hearts last Sunday defeated Kotoko 3-1 in the 16th week league game but a red card flashed on Ahmed Toure of Kotoko sparked violence as fans pelted the match officials with bagged water.
