GAABA releases first week fixtures

Accra, Feb 9, GNA – The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) has released the fixtures of the first week of the inaugural league which commences on Friday, February 16.


The venue of the competition is the Prisons Canteen, Cantonments, Accra.
Victor Bannor of Black Panthers Gym will pitch his strength against Korley of Osu Ultimate Gym in the Bantamweight division.


Bernard Amponsah of Pakis Gym will clash with Godwin Aryee of Liase Gym also in the same weight category.


In the Featherweight division, Nii Ofoli Tetteh will battle Nii Armah Quaye in an all Fit Square Gym affair just as Nii Addo Tetteh of Can Gym sort things out with Fredrick Lawson of the Fit Square Gym.


De-Oak Gym’s Odoi Yemofio will engage George Adams of the Pakis Gym in a Lightweight contest whilst Nicholas Alinka of the Fit Square Gym contends in a tough duel against Godfred Tetteh of the Will Power Gym in the same division.
Edward Annor of Can Gym will hope for his first point in a Lightweight clash against Osu Ultimate Gym’s Ibrahim Moshie.


Also in the Light Welterweight division, Seidu Star Boy of the Osu Ultimate Gym will engage Saviour Glago of the Akotoku Gym in an encounter expected to thrill fans.


The encounter between Ben Lamptey of Will Power and Francis Mensah of Can Gym will wrap up the bouts in the Light Welterweight division.


In the welterweight division, Raymond Addo of the Bukom Kotey Gym will sort things out with Maama Mutah of the Can Gym just as the all Rangers Gym affair will see the clash involving John Yeboah and Abu Iddrisu.


Ahmed Sasraku of the Bukom Gym engages Iddrisu Yakubu of the Fit Square Gym in a Middleweight contest.


Ashaiman Gym’s Felix Agbozo sorts things out against Samuel Aforleg of the Osu Ultimate Gym in another middleweight contest.


In the Light Heavyweight division, Ofoe Zotorvie of the Fit Square Gym will engage Bronx’s Abdulai Rauf, whilst Abdulai Nicky of the Rangers Gym clash with Mawuli Akpalu of the Ashaiman Gym.
