Press Release
July 17, 2014
Accra, Ghana
DR APRAKU THE WINNING CANDIDATE
FOR NPP.
We cannot do the same things and expect different results.
Change is always difficult but those who resist change are swept
over by history and those who embrace make history. NPP must
embrace change and make history again. We must work hard to be
seen as the party that cares for the ordinary Ghanaians. And
indeed we are the caring party with our social interment program
such as the school feeding program, National health insurance
program, and Maternity care program. National youth employment
programs, Massive expansion of educational infrastructure to
open up opportunities for the poor to climb to the social ladder
to progress our fear of our achievements we must build upon.
According to Benjamin Sekyire The best strategy to do is to
present Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku. The greatest strategic economist
of our nation. The man who could digest our Budget during
1996-2000, and bring out the best solution for the nation. Am
talking of a man who served as governor of the Ecowas Bank for
Investment and development (EBID) from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Apraku
has published several professional journals and done consulting
work for the World Bank, USAID and the Institute for Economic
Affairs (IEA) of Ghana. Dr. Apraku also a Member of the Board of
Trustees of the American Field Service Inter-Cultural
Organization in the United States of America of two (2) years.
As Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Apraku took several
initiatives that gave government improved stimulus for the
growth of the sector. NPP is time to present a winning candidate
and the person is Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku.
