On Ebola and other diseases!!

On reading official pronouncements about the Ebola epidemic from
the press, one
can certainly not escape the conviction that our leaders are
clueless and hence we are in the midst of an unmitigated
disaster.
3 000 deaths daily from malaria in sub-Saharan Africa and we are
so concerned about 700 deaths in 6 months from Ebola?
600 000 deaths a year from TB in sub-Saharan Africa etc
etc......
By all means let us secure our borders, continue to eat bush
meat, bathe our dead at home, while we build open drains and
throw sewage into the sea....that will do it!
That is the way to become a middle income country, a tourist
destination....and the gateway to Africa.
