From Russia Collusion to China Virus Neglect

Covid is a case very illustrative of Trump Derangement Syndrome, TDS just in case.

It’s a state where Trump, though as complex a human being as any, has never been given the benefit of doubt on any issue by his political opponents. This tendency is enough to call for a pause and attention to these TDS afflicted folks.

The smug declaration that Trump was a complete idiot didn’t work.  But no matter, the toxic level of the opposition has risen to a charge of incompetence in the handling of COVID-19.

It has to be noted that the rancid attack on Trump started the first day he became the president.

Before that, and to these same people, Trump’s was the quintessential American success story - brazenly rich and affable to all within the racial and ideological divides.

But soon after 2016, the sentiment changed.  And he became instantly a liar, racist, homophobic and other negatives, including being called a traitor.

Trump was unfit for the office, said the men who had claimed the title “super smart.”

Trump had stolen the 2016 election., they shouted, even though they knew it wasn't so.

They demanded the 2016 election be decided on the popular vote, reasoning that, somehow, the Russians have surgically stolen the Electoral vote!  They went extra-constitutional because the result didn't favor them.

A simple switch in the will of the voters had turned these geniuses into unbelievable and irreversible Trump haters. 

The animus was in the drive to get Trump out of office.  The affable rich billionaire they knew had become a fiend; an unfeeling, unthinking, unpatriotic inhuman blob.   

The transmogrification, however, did not end with Trump.  Those who voted for him became idiots too - men without compassion, untutored and unread (as I was to hear from a friend later). 

Why “unread”?

Could it have been that the so-called "idiots" read different authors whom the geniuses would not, obviously for ideological reasons? 

Somehow, the geniuses read the US Constitution and got it wrong.  They had concluded that Trump, of all citizens in the US, had no constitutional right to be president.  The problem was fools like those who voted for him didn’t know this for a fact!

Therewith, the self-appointed “smart set,” otherwise known as the “Ubermensch,” rushed on to strip political preference out of the constitution.  That is what too much “wisdom” can do for the “Ubermensch,” They had requisite Intelligence conservatives like the Trump voters lacked. 

In reality, they rather lacked that measure, as we shall soon see with their intemperate animus. And thus, Trump, the duly elected president would be hounded and not be allowed to rule. 

The constitutional demand of the 22^nd Amendment, which allowed an elected President a full term and a chance for the people to vote him back into office or out if they so wished, became intolerable for this crowd. 

Waiting for four years for the constitution to work was too much for them in their anxiety to prove that they were more farsighted than those who wrote the US Constitution that has worked well for so long.  And to do that successfully they had to impeach Trump.

And the process they resorted to, the all-encompassing depravity, was to prove very drastic for the republic and a travesty amounting to a botched coup attempt. 

Foremost and implicit in the attempt was the already mentioned assumption on their part that some 60 million US citizens, who had voted for Trump, were wrong.  These folks had no constitutional right for a political preference. 

A faux Russia Collusion investigation was invented, that started without any evidentiary premise. 

For almost two years the dredging went on and came up with no proof.  The farce in that episode was in Mueller’s report and his later appearance before the House Judicial Committee to explain a pointless investigation that had already happened.

The skullduggery in the investigation was plain to see as the Inspector General (Horowitz) discovered. 

The FBI had deceived the FISA court to assist the opposition in the spying on Trump, his family, businesses, and campaign associates.  Other government bureaucrats were corrupted and used in the process too and to date continue to harass the duly elected president.

Whistleblowers were put inside the White House to spy on Trump.

The Ukraine Quid pro Quo charge, from a whistleblower source, was sought for and used to spark a House impeachment investigation that ended up at the Senate for trial on a partisan vote.  It failed.

Hard on the heels of the impeachment trial and the hope for Trump’s presidential demise, came the China virus, COVID 19.  And the “Ubermensch” suddenly found another issue for prosecution.

They pivoted to blame Trump for not doing enough to stop the virus.  The virus had started in China, but now Trump was responsible for its spread in the US; a political stunt that didn’t care to state what exactly Trump did wrong.

Trump must listen to the scientific experts to fight the virus, the “Ubermensch” said.  Trump did, but the goalposts kept changing.

He suggested the drug hydroxyl-chloroquine might be effective in combating the virus, as some researchers, like Professor Didier Raoult of France, the infectious disease specialist, had done.

They had no idea where the science was.  But trust the “Ubermensch” crowd to promptly go this way without offering any scientific solution of their own. 

The move against Trump on the "science" was enough.  Turn every hopeful statement of his, even in the face of the deadly China Virus into a childlike prattle and your scientific expertise would be celebrated by the Ubermensch” crowd. 

And then the media referees would come in to augment the vile, even though hopeful news was coming in to support Trump's wish.

One expert said on AON TV, that in “perspective control” trials done at many parts of the world, including the US, China, and France, the drug hydroxyl-chloroquine worked. 

The journal “Bioscience” wrote on, March 16, 2020, that “chloroquine is a "breakthrough treatment" for Chinese patients.”

Yet the headline on ABCNEWS.Go.Com on March 20, 2020, screamed “Fauci throws cold water on Trump's declaration that malaria drug chloroquine is a 'game-changer.'

The “Ubermensch” dominance of the media was at work, laughing and seeking to ruin Trump by any means necessary.  And COVID-19 was godsent.  From “Russia Collusion” to “China Virus Neglect” in three short years: creating two dots that only a deranged mind could think of connecting. 

But the “Ubermensch” had already done the connection; expecting the “unread” not to notice the politics, the brutal hunger for power, and the deceit at work underneath it all.

I just lost a friend in a debate over Trump.  He, the “learned” one, in 2016, had supported Hillary, the white female candidate for the Democrat.  And I became an instant Uncle Tom for supporting Trump, the racist. 

And instantly, my right to a political preference in this modern age of democratic dispensation never mattered to him.

Now, why should I be the “unread,” and this pompous fellow not a clear case of TDS victimhood?
