AKUFO-ADDO CONGRATULATES ORGANISERS OF “YA YƐ DƐN” DEMONSTRATION

This is to congratulate the constituency and regional executives of the New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti region, the NPP Members of Parliament from the Ashanti caucus, and members of the planning committee for the successful nature of Tuesday’s “Ya YƐ dƐn” demonstration.

Particularly, I congratulate the over five hundred thousand (500,000) Ghanaians who were present at the demonstration. Clearly and unequivocally, they voiced out their concerns and displeasure about the growing levels of economic hardships they are facing on a daily basis under the current NDC government.

Yesterday’s demonstration was also a clear message to all NPP faithful. Ghanaians are very unhappy with their lot, and expect us to rescue them from the despondency, rising cost of living, unprecedented levels of unemployment and widespread corruption they have been plunged into by President John Mahama and his NDC government. We dare not fail them, and can only do so with a united front.

As we embark on the journey of electing a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections, I ask all NPP members to be reminded of the scenes of distressed Ghanaians at the demonstration who are yearning for the NPP’s return to power. We must show to Ghanaians that we have the policies and programmes to transform our country, and move them out of the current mess into which our beloved Ghana has been engulfed. With determination, unity, hardwork and honest leadership, Ghana can overcome her current problems and achieve the potential which inspired our forefathers to begin the struggle for freedom and independence. Long live Ghana! God bless us all.

OKO-VANDERPUYIE MUST GO: AND MAHAMA TOO

Commentary, June 10, Ghanadot - I wonder how Mr. Vanderpuyie felt the morning after the floods. In keeping very much with past tradition, he toured the flooded areas. He made more promises than he did the last time he had taken such a tour and gave more assurances of the Government’s support for the victims.

NPP CONGRESS: DEC 6 IS EITHER TENTATIVE OR THERE'S NO DATE!

Commentary, June 09, Ghanadot - From all observations and discussions within and outside of the Ghanaian media, it is very obvious that many Ghanaians if not most are keenly waiting in anticipation of who becomes the flag bearer of the opposition NPP. This is understandable because the NPP is the only party with the realistic threats to unseat the failed NDC. .......More

Prostate cancer diagnosis may be more accurate with semen test

Review, June 09, Ghanadot - Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers in men and a major cause of cancer-related deaths. Yet it is tricky to diagnose - the commonly used PSA test can result in over- diagnosis and unnecessary further procedures. . More

THE TRUE STATE OF THE ECONOMY AND A GOVERNMENT IN A STATE OF DENIAL
Release, June 09, Ghanadot - Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for making the time to be at this Press Conference. The NPP has since 2011 sounded alarm bells about the state of Ghana’s economy. Every time these alarm bells have been sounded, we have been met with derisory comments and insults by Government Ministers, NDC communicators, supporters and apologists. .....More
