NPP THANKS ALL

The New Patriotic Party wishes to express its profound gratitude to all who contributed in diverse ways to make the 15th NPP Extraordinary Delegates Conference, held in Sunyani on Saturday December 19, a success.

The Party is grateful to the Chiefs and People of the Brong Ahafo Region, particularly Sunyani who welcomed the Party and accorded the Party, the needed support and cooperation before and during the Conference. We will like to also acknowledge the hundreds of media persons across the country who helped in publicizing the conference and especially the media houses who carried the Conference live, affording millions of Party sympathizers and Ghanaians who could not be in Sunyani, the opportunity to follow proceedings.
We will also thank the Ghana Police Service and all other Security and State Institutions for working closely and harmoniusly with our internal security. The result is peaceful, orderly and virtually incident free conference.

The Party is also most grateful to the various Diplomatic Missions that sent observers to the Conference and the Convention People’s Party for also honouring our invitation and having its representatives observe the Conference.
Above all, we thank the thousands of delegates, officials and members of the NPP who thronged to Sunyani in their numbers to demonstrate the strength of the Party and to every other individual or group we have failed to mention due to the challenge of space.

Thanks to your efforts, the Conference will go down in history as one of the most well organized Conferences of any Political Party in the country.

The Party wishes to use this opportunity to also thank all members of the 2016 Campaign Team for accepting the various roles handed to them.

However, we will also like to reiterate the wise words of our leader, Nana Akufo-Addo in Sunyani when he said " this campaign is for all NPP members and NPP sympathizers....... I know it to be true that often it is the unsung, unmentioned, unrecognized people who do the real work. I know it to be true that the real work is done by those who never sit by the flagbearer, or are photographed with the flagbearer or are said to be around the flagbearer. I know it to be true that the real campaign is done by those who do not expect to be reimbursed for bus fares or ever even wear an NPP T-shirt. "

The Unity, numbers and solidarity shown in Sunyani is the greatest testimony to the fact that the NPP is ready and focused on securing Change for the people of Ghana come 2016. We urge all our members to be inspired by the speeches of former President John Agyekum Kufuor, Vice-Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Acting Party Chairman, Freddie Blay, Acting General Secretary and National Organiser, John Boadu and our Leader, Nana Akufo-Addo and to recognize that we have only one task – delivering the people of Ghana out of the unprecedented corruption and incompetence being suffered under the current government.

Thank You All
…SIGNED…
JOHN BOADU
ACTING GENERAL SECRETARY, NPP

Bizarre: 300 Ghanaians to die in Libya for loitering?

Commentary, Dec 22, Ghanadot - If for nothing at all, the Ghanaian condition is far better than exists elsewhere, regardless of what the government is able to provide or not.
