Let's Unite for a
Purpose- Paul Afoko
Ahead of the NPP June 13
Parliamentary primaries, the National
Chairman of the party, Paul Awentani Afoko
has called on party officials to be united
and eschew tendencies that have the
potential of dividing the rank and file of
the party at the constituency.
Speaking to party officials in Takoradi,
Friday, April 24, Afoko called on all to be
united for a Purpose because in his
estimation, Ghanaians are calling on the NPP
to save Ghana from the gross economic
mismanagement by the NDC. He urged the
gathering to consider only political power
in the selection of Parliamentary
Candidates. "Your only consideration in the
selection of Parliamentary candidates should
be how the person can win us more votes in
both Parliamentary and Presidential"
Mr. Afoko, who is currently touring regional
capitals with the General Secretary to roll
out the new plan for Power, assured the
'front line soldiers' of readiness to steer
the affairs of the party to victory 2016.
The General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong
called for greater discipline in the party.
He cautioned members who run to the media,
with the aim of running another party member
down, to be careful because, “The National
Council has drawn the line and will apply
punitive sanctions”.
