Press Release
Office of Alan Kerematen
September 03, 2014
PRESS STATEMENT
Last Sunday, 31st August 2014, The New Patriotic
Party (NPP), once again demonstrated that we are the
pacesetters in Ghana’s democratic dispensation, when
we held our special delegates elections to prune
down the number of candidates for the flagbearer
position from seven to five.
Let me express my appreciation to the entire party
and particularly the delegates who ensured that I
was included in the list of five contestants for the
final primary.
By this action, I have a clear indication that the
NPP fraternity believes l am capable of leading our
party to victory in the 2016 elections.
I take this charge very seriously and assure our
party members that I will do all within my power,
and by the Grace of the Almighty God, not to let
them down.
I congratulate all aspirants who took part in
Sunday’s special election, both those who have been
included in the five and the two who were not
included.
Going forward, the surest way for our party to win
power is to foster genuine unity and peace within
the party.
Ahead of the October 18th primary, I reaffirm my
resolve to provide a leadership that will provide
the drive for a strong, united and peaceful party
for victory in 2016.
As we enter the next stage of the process that will
lead to the final selection of one presidential
candidate, I ask all our party faithful for their
continued and unflinching support, as we march for
victory in 2016.
God Bless us all,
Thank You
……Signed……

When political correctness is sold as mother tongue
for education reforms
Commentary, Sept 03, Ghanadot -
There is urgent call for reform but we need to go back to basics: put proper structures
in place, good teachers, more classrooms,
disciplined kids in school uniforms, libraries,
computer labs, healthy environments, play grounds,
the enforcement of a well thought out curriculum and
the insistence on the maximum number of years to
prepare pupils successfully for tertiary education..... More
