Tema Mantse urged industries to support General hospital
Audrey Agyiri-Inkoom

The Tema Mantse, Nii Adjei Kraku, has appealed to industries and institutions in the Tema Traditional Area to support the Tema General Hospital to address its present crisis.

According to him, health care delivery will be greatly destabilized if the present situation at the hospital is allowed to worsen.

To him, it is regrettable that corporate institutions in the Metropolis have avoided their social responsibilities towards the number one health post in the community.

Nii Adjei kraku was speaking at a dinner organised by the Traditional Council to climax this year’s Homowo celebration at his palace.

He appealed to the Ministry of Health to post new doctors to the hospital to replace their colleagues who have left in order to boost the staff strength.

The Tema Mantse also urged corporate institutions to contribute to the Tema Educational Endowment Fund to help the Traditional Council to support needy but brilliant students in the locality.
